Hammer N' Ales
Saturday May 14, 2016
On Saturday, May 14th, Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County in partnership with M.Special Brewing Company hosted the first annual Hammer ‘n Ales: A Benefit Music Festival to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter.
Featuring bands ALO and Matt Costa from Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records, as well as Soul Majestic, Jessie Bridges and Adam Phillips, Hammer N' Ales was an unforgettable afternoon of live music and delicious local craft beers. Food trucks served up local fare while games and crafts for kids made this event fun for the whole family.
From 2pm to 7pm the festival took over the large shared Habitat and M.Special property in Goleta. Headlining band ALO, who got their start in Santa Barbara while students at UCSB, played carefree and funky tunes into the evening.
Over 1,000 guests attended Hammer N' Ales in 2016. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County.
